Our hand
crafted apple ciders, from Capel, were launched in September 2002.
They have won medals each year since then at Shows within
Australia.
Cider Making Philosophy
The apple juice is the
heart of every apple cider so we use locally sourced apple juice
which is fermented slowly, to bring out the characteristic apple
flavour. Careful aging on lees allows our distinctive apple
cider taste to develop. Finally, the apple cider is put into the
bottle with sparkle.
No
Preservatives, Artificial Colours or Flavours are used to make our
apple ciders and, therefore, the alcohol is 6%
abv.
We wanted our apple ciders to capture the romance, nostalgia
and chivalry of medieval times. They can be enjoyed not only
because of that tradition, but also for their complexity and
delicate flavour.
At Cider Works, we have
a personal connection to our products that reflects the approach of
an artisan.

History
In 1995, a home brew kit
for making apple cider paved the way for the formation of Cider
Works. Andrey, with his wife Jodie,
turned his skills as a Chemist to commercial cider
making.
In the development
phase, the search was for the best apple juice, yeast, and
conditions to make a traditional style apple cider. Where
possible, everything was to be sourced locally from the South
West.
Finally, we thought that
we had it right and launched the first of our hand crafted premium
quality aged apple ciders in September 2002 in Capel,
Western Australia, simply labelled Dry and Sweet.
What our
customers say:
I
am looking forward to Cider Works Sweet being the beverage of
choice for this summer! We tell all our friends we have
discovered the best drink ever, but don’t tell them it’s cider
(due to stereotypes). We just get them to taste it and watch the
looks of delicious surprise on their faces.
Thanks for making such a refreshing, natural, hangover free,
delicious drink.
