This Month’s Recipe

Fried chorizo with apple cider

Cooking Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:

500g chorizo sausage, sliced
1 1/2 cups apple cider
2 bay leaves

Method:
Place chorizo in a large frying pan over high heat.  Cook for 5 minutes or until chorizo starts to brown.  Drain excess fat.

Add apple cider and bay leaves to chorizo.  Reduce heat to medium. Simmer for 5 to 8 minutes or until cider is syrupy.  Spoon chorizo mixture into a serving bowl and serve warm or at room temperature.
